Data Driven Instruction – Directors are asked to bring COPIES of adjudication sheets they have gotten, along with colored markers to highlight comments related to different aspects of their performance. These will be used to develop instructional strategies
Soundboards & Lightboards – Basic instruction on properly using sound and light boards for concerts.
Beyond CD’s – a look at audio options both for the classroom and for playing audition cuts for region and state tryouts.
Audition Manager – Hands on experience using the scoring cards and scoring method for the Audition Manager program that will be tested in three of our junior high tryouts next fall.
Potpourri – Directors will be asked to submit topics for brief discussion related to choral instruction.
Additional subjects will be developed soon and added to this page. A total of 12 hours of professional development will be provided during the two days.
All sessions are available to the choral director at any ArkCDA member school for no charge. Individuals not affiliated with the ArkCDA may be allowed to register provided space is available. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
